Dinner.

Michelle Obama is in Vermont today. For $5000, people can have dinner with her. I was going to go but then I remembered things like the war(s), the economy, Guantanamo, tax-breaks for the wealthy, the Patriot (sic) Act and Wall Street handouts. Oh yeah, and there was also the lack of an extra $5000. Maybe next time.

    $5000 to have dinner with her? Guess I won’t bring flowers and candy. Jesus. A working girl could make a good living at those rates. How much of that goes to the pimp?

    Also, with all this obese bullshit, I’d like to see how big a spread they put out. A single mother with 2 kids could buy a year’s supply of food for the household with $5000 and probably pay all the utility bills too. I guess there goes all that money 52 of the wealthiest Vermonters offered to donate to the State to prevent lay-offs and services cuts.

    Course, when the Republicans do a $5000 a plate affair, they’re PIGS. Wonder how our National Guard troops are eating?

    i could pay off about half of the debts forcing me into bankruptcy, including the largest, an unpaid medical expense.
